Chocolate Filled Rosewater Doughnuts

For 2 people





  • 150 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp rosewater
  • 1 egg
  • 1 drizzle sunflower oil
  • 20 cl water
  • 50 g spread




    • Pastry cutter
    • Pastry bag
    • Rolling pin




    1. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl, create a well and break in the egg. Mix well.
    2. Add the sunflower oil, rosewater and water. Mix and whisk. Leave to rest for 30 mins at room temperature.
    3. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface, flatten with the palm of your hand and roll out with a rolling pin. 
    4. Cut out circles using a pastry cutter. 
    5. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the doughnuts on both sides until golden brown. Drain the doughnuts on kitchen paper, then fill with the spread using a pastry bag.
