Banana Bread with Tahini and Pecans

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 15 mins

Cooking time: 20 mins

For 4 persons

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 150g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
  • 90g brown sugar  
  • 50g tahini  
  • 50g pecans
  • 2 eggs
  • 70g butter   
  • 3 ripe bananas 
  • 1 lime    
  • 1 pinch fine salt

     

    Preparation:

     

    1. Preheat oven to 210°C.   
    2. Pour eggs, sugar and salt into a bowl. Beat using a whisk
    3. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well.  
    4. Melt butter in microwave and add to mixture.
    5. Add lime zest. Mix well.   
    6. Using a fork, mash bananas and add lime juice.
    7. Stir into the mixture, then add the tahini. Mix well. 
    8. Chop the pecans and add to the mixture.   
    9. Butter the cake mold and pour in the batter.   
    10. Bake for 20 minutes, then leave to cool.
    11. Unmould.

     

     Ready !
